I began to paint with watercolor, on a whim, in November of 2024. I suddenly realized that it was something that I'd always wanted to try. It turned out that I was pretty good at it and that I found it to be incredibly relaxing.

I started with some Youtube videos but then found some free classes offered at local libraries, as well as the online tutorials of Paul Clark.

 

Most of my paintings are created by referring to royalty-free photographs. I am drawn to colorful subjects.

In addition to participating in online challenges, I decided to gift the people in my life with paintings of their homes, grandchildren, and pets. 

 

Hopefully this web site will display my growth as an artist.
